contents: Type specimen of New Javanese in the type specimen at N.V. Lettergieterij 'Amsterdam', voorheen N. Tetterode,. Javanese is the richest language of the whole Malay Archipelago. Also, this language has many different kinds of languages and scripts. The N.V. Lettergieterij 'Amsterdam', formerly N. Tetterode, possessed different Javanese scripts but had in 1908-1909, with support from the Department of the Colonies, this new variant made because there was the need for an improved, more modern and easily legible Javanese letter.
