contents: At Stokkink's electrische boekbinderij in Amsterdam, books were still sometimes bound by hand. That was done as it had always been done. Here the bookbinder is sewing the book block to cords, the same way in which in previous centuries, for example, copies of the Dutch Authorized Version of the Bible and other heavy books had been bound.
