contents: This print shows the specific requirements for a binding around the Dutch Authorized Version. It is a large thick book in folio with wooden boards covered with harness leather and supplied with furniture. The binding is blind-tooled in lines and in the middle is a decoration. The example is shown from all sides. To the left we see the embroidering round a primary core (embroidering the endband) and an iron press with which blocks, that are too large to be printed by hand, can be pressed into the binding.
