contents: The heart of N.V. Lettergieterij 'Amsterdam', voorheen N. Tetterode,, called the `great type foundry hall' at the time. Initially the N.V. Lettergieterij 'Amsterdam', `formerly N. Tetterode, mostly cast typefaces originating from abroad, but with the coming of S.H. de Roos the firm also started to cut and cast type after Dutch designs. The type was cast in this foundry hall with automatic typecasting machines.
