contents: This reading room in the old Koninklijke Bibliotheek on Lange Voorhout in The Hague was finished in 1908. It is a classic example of a neo-Gothic, highly finished reading room as they were built all over in libraries in western Europe. After the removal of the KB to a new building near Central Station, this reading room was demolished.
